Inspiration Point....Burlap

I use to think of burlap as a stiff, coarse fabric that was only good to use in landscaping and for making bags for produce. But times have changed; burlap seems to be quite the rage now in home decor. I have been busy "pinning away on Pinterest and this week I have found some great crafty ideas using burlap. If you would like to follow me on Pinerest just click on the red Pinterest widget on the side of my blog.

A Little Fall Decorating

Here’s a peek at the decorating touches I’ve added for fall. I still would like to add a few pumpkins around the fireplace and on the front porch. I think I’ll buy some of those fake pumpkins you can find at Joann’s or Hobby Lobby.

Crocheting has become a favorite past time, especially in the evening while watching television. I've been thinking about creating some granny squares with the yarn leftover from other projects. I turned to Pinterest for some inspiration. Who knew there were so many types of granny square projects? Here are just a few:

Inspiration Point

Crafter's OCD/ADD??? Is there such a thing? Do any of you have problems getting projects finished? Okay I must confess. I'm addicted to reading blogs and Pinterest. I love the organization that Pinterest allows in keeping track of all of those great ideas out there in blogland. I also have notebooks filled with patterns and pictures of craft ideas. I also have a craft basket and table filled with UFO's. I need an intervention technique to motivate me to finish some of these projects. I was used to multitasking in my job, but projects were always completed. Now that I'm retired, there's no deadlines to meet.

Here's what's been added to my growing list of projects...

Doesn't this look yummy?
Who can resist chocolate, pumpkin,
and butter cream frosting?
Lots of great recipes on this blog.

I wish I'd found something this when I was getting started.
